My Voice Experience

I am mostly a singer songwriter and have much experience singing or speaking in front of large crowds or in intimate settings, such as leading Worship and Singing or Speaking in Public functions. I have also done some radio talkshow work with a call in audience as well as a co~tv show host, and video game voice overs. I currently have a contracted job working on a Historic Documentary "My South, My Soul" about the Yellow Fever Plague breakout in Louisiana, USA in 1853. I am doing the voice over part for "Lydia" the main character's voice, the spirit of a 17 year old girl who died from the plague. I also do some narration in the movie, as well as, writing and singing the Signature song and some other original songs and segments for the movie's soundtrack for Stephen Friend Productions. This is taking place in Austin, Texas. He has said I am a Natural at this and is very impressed and pleased with my work for him and is eager to give a reference for my work.

My Training

I realy have not had much formal training, just a few vocal lessons for singing, as I am a musician, but voice work for me is mostly Natural. I have however, taught myself over the years to speak very clearly and to have excellent pronunciation, and I am currently working on having more projection. The reason for this being is, it so bothers me when you can't make out the words being spoken or sung and I want to Produce Excellent Recordings. I believe these qualities you find in me and my voice, will prove for you, to be very beneficial and pleasing. I am Professional in what I do and for whom I work for, and would very much like to audition for you to see if I could be what you are looking for in your project to meet your need. I can realy get into the emotion of the character's pretty quickly and bring this out in my voice for the voice overs assigned to me, it just seems to come Naturally. I am currently an aspiring actress as well as being a somewhat known musician, singer/songwriter talent and artist. I also write and read poetry fluently. My voice is alot of who I am and Plays a big role in my life. I understand how much it can have an effect on those listening to it. This is important, and I realy like what I do.
