Voice Description

I have a very firm and strong voice. Right from school days, I was actively involved in debates, elecutions, dramas. Hence, I developed a good control on how to modulate and maintain my voice. I love singing, though not professionally trained, I would participate at school and university level singing competitions. Plus a keen interest in reading, did help me expand my vocabulary and gain fluency in speech.

My Voice Experience

I'm have been working for an Indian Radio Station(89.1 Radio4FM) in UAE as the English News Presenter full-time for the past one year. Besides presenting the news on radio, I also voice advertisements, promos and special features for the station in the languages english, hindi and occasionally in urdu.

My Training

Most of my training has been on the job. Ever since i joined radio, every exposure given to me was a new challenge and a new experience.

Right from doing news pieces, sing-song tunes, character voicing, advertisements etc etc, I was trained on the job.

Besides presenting the hourly World News, I also present the Business News and Sports Updates on Radio.

I am a Graduate in Internet Science and Technology.

I posses good presentation skills. I have compered stage shows for inter-college events, company events. Currently working towards being a TV news Anchor.

I also posses good editorial skills. My job profile requires me to edit and present the News pieces. I compile the news from different sources like Television, Internet and News agencies( REUTERS, ANI(Indian News Agency))

I also do advertisement scripting to a certain extent, though not too experienced in this area.
