My Voice Experience

My voice over career in English spans 33 years and began on Door Darshan Television in India where I was on camera as the anchor of 'Youth Forum'; I also performed voice overs for the station. I continued my television career in Trinidad, my home by marriage, where I scripted and anchored several shows: 'Evening Magazine', 'Mehefil', 'Humsaffar' on Trinidad and Tobago Television and 'Yatra' on CCN TV 6. During this time I also voiced several commercials for both television and radio (eg. Axion, Sun blest Flour, Chief Curry Powder, Maraj and Son's Jewelers, Loreal, Pepsi, the station ID for radio 106 FM Stereo and performed the role of MC for various official/professional events as well as presented several stage productions: 'Sundar Swapana', 'Drum Trinity', 'Milap', ' The Rainbow that is Trinidad and Tobago', 'Traditions in Music', and 'We Carnival'. The last 3 were staged in the USA. In the USA where I currently live, my voice has been heard on WAVS 1170 and WVCG 1080, both AM stations, where I created shows on Indo-Trinidadian music and culture. Recently, I scripted and voiced a documentary film on the Jessie Trice Family Health Center in Miami titled, 'Fifty Years of Service'. As you can see my career has been very diverse and has given me a lots of valuable voice over experience.
