I've spent over 20 years as a broadcaster in sports. This really gives you a wide variety of skills, including color commentatin, play by play, interviews, billboard reads, promotions, etc. Most of the time, we are having a great time, so young energetic female is really in my wheelhouse, but occasionally, your team loses, so I have the ability to be sensitive and serious, but my greatest asset is that I read very naturally.

I believe experiences help you in this field-- and I've certainly had a lot of experiences through my career. Before I started broadcasting, I played pro baseball on a women's team, The Colorado Silver Bullets that toured the country competing against men, I've flown with the Blue Angels, pulled 9.2 G's with the Air Force's Thunderbirds, parachuted out of a plane, thankfully not one of the previously mentioned military aircraft... scaled down the side of a 450 foot building, and I just kicked cancer's ass, but the toughest job I have is trying to get my husband and two sons to put the toilet seats down. I set up this account as a "someday" several years ago, but thanks to a paradigm shift-- it is time!
