My Voice Experience

I'm Master of Ceremonies for wedding receptions, reunions and parties with my husband for Mario's Music Company, performing 38 weekends each year.

I have led praise & worship services at local churches, and been a vocal & instrument member of praise teams.
I also directed a church choir from 2005-2009.

Since 2000, I have been a top choice for local businesses needing a main-line or 800 number telephone voice prompter. Lucas-Varity, TRW, Life Capital Solutions, Joy Community Church, Mario's Music Company, Brides-to-Be Bridal Shows, Living Word Fellowship Church, hundreds of weddings & parties, have all chosen my voice for presentations, recordings and events. In 2005, I also enjoyed recording 2 television commercials for a regional bridal show company and in 2008 was hired to record a real estate automatic answering system describing properties for sale.

I am often approached to be a narrator for local plays and my music performance experience has trained me to be comfortable with recording, sound quality, and producing.

I am a vocal coach and have been approached numerous times to record readings, announcements, narration, answering systems, and live events. Children enjoy listening to me read stories, Mario's Music Company clients like my professionalism and level of calm, and businesses appreciate that I speak clearly and succinctly.

I am interested in expanding my range of experience and become much busier in the audio industry.

My Training

Oakland University, 1997, B.A. in East Asian Studies - Japanese Language & Culture.

1994, 1995 & 1997, Traveled with Celebrant Singers internationally, speaking & singing in front of hundreds of people. Played two keyboards for 4 tours and sang alto parts for 1 tour in the vocal section.

1998 Mario's Music Company formed, became Master of Ceremonies & Disc Jockey.

Drama workshops throughout high school and college.

Leading praise & worship at local churches since 1997. Participating on worship teams since 1989.

When I worked as an administrative assistant at Lucas-Varity (later purchased by TRW, Inc.), my employer liked how my voice sounded when I paged other employees for phone calls. He asked me to record the answering system for the company. My public speaking experience was bolstered during my travels with the Celebrant Singers. I began performing in front of audiences at the age of 9 and have a fairly comfortable stage presence.
