My Voice Experience

I've done voice over for K'nees florist commercial here in Davenport, Iowa back in 1998. But, outside of having a degree in mass communications I am very new to this field.

My Training

A.S in Broadcasting
B.S in Mass Communications
And one Continuing Ed class that opened my eyes to the world of voice-overs.

My Studio Equipment

Because I am just starting out I would have to buy studio time. I am looking into buying the appropriate equipment package such as Pro Tools. My mass communications training has equipped me to check for the right levels without potting out to ensure a good sound.

Additional Skills

I've done telemarketing jobs in the past so I am able to speak clearly but friendly so people are at ease communicating with me. I've also taken storytelling classes so I can tell stories without sounding like I'm reading them because I know how to make it my own. The storytelling class also helped me to show a variety of inflections when needed.
