My Voice Experience

I was a very successful chatline operator (i.e. phone sex operator) for awhile. The amount of money one makes at phone sex is totally dependent on how long you keep the client on the phone, thus you have to be extremely versatile and convincinng in conveying age, ethnicity, transgender, and attitude to keep them on the line. I also entertain my family and friends with the accents and voices I use on a regular basis to liven up conversations and lighten up tension when it arises. I have also been told, on more than one occasion that I should major in communications and work on the radio because the tonal quality and my "storytelling" skills are excellent.

My Training

The only real "training" I've had in using my voice is as a chat operator, a speech communications course in college, and a childhood spent moving all over the country; thus exposing me to the many different dialects and accents in the United States.
