Voice Description
I have a very professional and warm sounding voice that sounds really good for commercial voice-over and presentation pieces. I have the ability to do quirky character voices (a recent production for the ad agency where I worked had me as the "sidekick" character in a superhero "batman and robin" type radio spot.) and a good "southern redneck" accent. I can also speak Spanish, as it was a second major in college. My Spanish dialect sounds somewhat "Americanized"...the accent is not as authentic as a native hispanic's would be, but I can speak the language fluently.

My Voice Experience
I knew as soon as I stepped foot into my college's student radio station that radio and production was what I wanted to do with my life. I was heavily involved with the student radio station throughout my college career. I interned at a TV station and at the Host communications radio network facility, where I continue to work part-time in a production role. I worked master control at the TV station where I interned as my first job out of college. I then moved to continuity director for the 5-station radio cluster where I currently work. I moved from that position to traffic assistant, and eventually to creative services director, where I served for 2+ years. My next job took me to a local advertising agency/jingle company where I was direcly involved in media buying and creative writing and production. I recently have taken another opportunity back with the radio stations where I got my start that has me involved in production, continuity, and traffic...and I'm loving every minute of it!
My Training
I studied Communication Arts in college, with a focus on Broadcasting. I hosted a weekly radio show on air at the student station for 4 years, and managed the student staff for 2 and a half years. I got into the radio business right out of college, and have been developing my skills on the job ever since.
