Voice Description
My normal voice can best be described as a young baritone. It sounds deep and smooth, and is a good voice for announcements, narrations, business, educational and promotional purposes. However, my voice is very versatile, and can encompass many different ranges from a child-like falsetto, to a Don LaFontaine-like movie announcer bass. I can also do kooky voices which would be perfect for characters in books, cartoons, video games, etc. I can also do several good impressions of famous characters like Sean Connery, Yogi Bear, Christopher Walken, Kermit The Frog, etc.

My Voice Experience
I have several Demos that I have garnered from 3 years of working at 90.5 KCSU-FM Fort Collins, a non-profit College station. I have been the Production Director there for a year now, and will be next year as well. I have produced more than 100 pieces of production ranging from simple Public Service Announcements to extensively produced promotions for holiday giveaways. About a quarter of these feature my voice in some form, either regular or altered in some way. I have also been a narrator in several local theatrical performances, as well as an actor. I have also announced some promotional materials for the local home Colorado State University football games in Hughes Stadium. I was also the 'weatherman' for CTV 11 in the Fall of 2008
My Training
Studies from Colorado State University later this year. I also have a high school diploma, with several years of experience participating in the speech/debate club for Rocky Mountain High School. There I earned several first place awards for Humorous Interpretation and Creative Storytelling. A friend and I also earned 12th place at the State level of competition in Duo Interpretation in 2005. I have been in several local theatrical performances as both an actor and narrator, including "The Importance Of Being Earnest" "Baby With The Bathwater" "Metamorphoses" as well as several readers theaters like "Casablanca". In 2007 I was cast as "Richy" in the indie film "12 Heads And Counting - A Love Story". I have also been the Audio Engineer for Hughes Stadium in Fort Collins, as well as an announcer there. I have been featured on public access television as a weather forecaster, and an episode that I was in is now up for a nomination for a T.V. Emmy award. I am also a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, or SPJ from 2007
My Studio Equipment
Two interconnected Dell Optiplex 745 computers with Dual-core processing, DVD-RW creation capabilities, and running with Windows XP Professional, and the editing software of Adobe Audition 2.0 on the main recording computer, and the use of Broadcast Electronics software like AVRPS and AVScheduler to re-record files to the other computer for processing, and to be recorded to other sources. I use Four Electro-Voice RE20 condenser microphones with mounted arm swivels and foam pop reducers. Two Denon DN-C635 Studio CD/MP3 players also able to read some data CD's. A Telos Zephyr X-Stream ISDN, and a Gentner Digital Hybrid DH 20, both capable of recording audio straight from phone to computer. Various Symetrix products including a 528E voice processor, and an airTools 6000 broadcast audio delay. A Rane HC6 headphone console for multiple monitoring, with rack jacks, microphone and signal monitoring, as well as ins and outs to the computer. 2 studio cassette players, one a Tascam 112B with the capacity for 3 types of tapes, as well as a digital Panasonic SV-3700. All of these are hooked up to a Pacific Research & Engineering AirWave 12-input mixer, connecting all of the equipment to the computers.
Additional Skills
I have extensive experience within the field of traditional acting, and have performed many times. I am also majoring in Communication Studies at an accredited university. I have had 3 years of experience working in radio, and 1 year of experience working in television. 2 out of 3 of those years I have worked on the production aspects of radio and television, and helped with ADR for "12 Heads and Counting - A Love Story" as well as being an actor in the movie itself. I have been a DJ for KCSU for 3 years, and will continue on to next year as well. I also play music and am proficient on various instruments. I can create and mix my own music with a drum set, guitar and bass. I believe that I have extensive experience in production as well as voice acting and traditional acting. I also believe that this, coupled with several years of musical performance and professional work, gives me a definite competitive edge.
