My native speech is a softly spoken mild Scottish accent, clear, and direct. I can alter my pitch and timbre for a wide range of options:

1) Dropping tone to a more intimate style for narration.
2) Pointed and direct for IVR type telephone voice menus.
3) Soft and intimate for sexy / romantic or energised and excited for advertising and promotion.


I have also been working on the following dialects:

Scottish A (Broad Glaswegian style)
American (Standard)
London Cockney (Rough texture)
French (Standard)

Working on adding others, including cartoon / animation style character voices.

A member of the Equity Actors Union, I was acting Chairman of the Bristol & West Branch Sept 2008 – January 2010.

My Studio Equipment

From home I can record and edit basic MP3 files and apply sound effects and music on a small scale. This is done outside office hours and I can email the finished pieces to you direct.

I am also reachable by Skype.

Additional Skills

My day job is providing insurance advice over the phone to business customers. As a result, overall vocal performance, projection, pace and clarity is important and I get to practice it seven hours every working day. I am one of the current IVR voices for the business.
