Voice Description
My voice is operetic in nature, with a certain degree of sweetness to it. My talking voice sounds totally different, and I abhore the sound of it. I can make my voice sound operetic, or sometimes very mellow, but not low. I also have experience singing songs of different languages, which would include Latin, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. I am deeply interested in voice-acting for animated films. My voice coach has recently told me that I am beginning to sound like 'me,' and no one else, which is exactly what I was hoping for. He says it is getting stronger and fuller.

My Voice Experience
I have done some entertaining in various shows with my sister, who also sings, as well as entertained in nursing homes, wedding receptions, and holidays. I only have one recording of my singing, and that was done 2 years ago before I had voice lessons. Now that I have had about 6 months of lessons (which I plan on continuing), I want to re-record my voice and see the difference. My voice coach, who only coaches professional singers, says that I have a lot of potential, and that I am a very hard worker when it comes to ironing out the various singing problems that crop up.
My Training
I have had a few years of stage experience and am not afraid to be in front of an audience. Currently, I study with a very good voice coach for professional singers only, who teaches at Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio. I have sung/acted in several school plays in my high school, which included the role of Princess Aurora in the song "Once Upon a Dream" from the Disney movie, Sleeping Beauty. I have taken no classes in voice overs, but I was called by the director himself to play a role in the Musical called, "The Full Monte" in The Royalton Players, based in Cleveland. I turned down this role, however, because I found the play to be too dirty.
My Studio Equipment
My stepfather owns and operates a quality sound system, which he uses to record his music and my own to perfection. He has had experience in putting parts of songs together, and has made his own C.D. with his old band.
Additional Skills
I am good at writing song lyrics, though my sister is the one who received the talent in putting them to music. However, I can write very well, and have a novel that I'm writing that currently has about 300 pages.
