Voice Description
I have an extensive range in character portrayal for voice-overs. I can mimic most male voices in both speaking voice and singing voice. Similarly, I can produce very close approximations of nearly any character voice from animated, radio, video game, or other such works. Voices range from fast, brash, and aggressive to smooth, cool, and sexy to cute, playful, and cartoon-like. My own voice is naturally a warm and comforting mid-low tone, but I can speak in both very high voices and reasonably lower ones. Just as I can mimic most male voices, I can mimic many accents in English (many US regional dialects, multiple British, some other European, Australian, etc). I don't speak any other languages fluently, but I am adept at speaking written phrases in French. I can play various ages, ranging convincingly from about fourteen to sixty-five. I can convey a sense of integrity and professionalism just as easily and convincingly as I can convey a sense of idiocy and zaniness. I can produce many animal sounds and other creature effects as well, and can come up with many types of sounds and effects as called for by more varied or unusual projects. I am versatile, creative, and intuitive when it comes to voice recording and I am capable of performing for extended sessions if necessary.

My Voice Experience
I am new to the voice-over industry and I sincerely hope that doesn't make you pass me by. I have been working as a professional musician for the last five years and seek to expand my professional options. Notably, I sepent several years in a cover through which I was frequently praised for my ability to sound like the original artist of a given song.
Other voice and acting experience has come from a life of mimicking voices of cartoon and television characters and reading fictional works aloud to friends and children. I also served as anchor of my high school news broadcast, have acted on stage as the lead in a full-length melodramatic play, and recorded vocal harmonies and lead singing parts on numerous recordings for musical associates, including professional song demos.
I feel it should also be noted that teachers from every grade level through college would repeatedly request that I read texts aloud to the class since I was eloquent, articulate, and could read nearly anything they set in front of me clearly and expressively on the first pass.
My Training
I have a degree in music, but most of what I got out of school came from my vocal lessons, songwriting and music business classes, and singing in ensembles. I feel my voice is adequately trained for nearly any project that may present itself. As far as voice acting, I have had conversations and brief tutelage in the ways of voiceover from other musicians who have done it as a side project (I would prefer, personally, that voiceover become more than a side-project for me). I am self-trained as far as character voice-acting. I have put a lot of time and effort into it and I hope you have the chance to find out.

Additional Skills
Other skills I possess are mainly musical and artistic. I can sight-read most vocal music and I have a terrific musical memory. I am a skilled songwriter and can easily compose and improvise melodies. I have a working knowledge of contemporary recording technology and own my own recording equipment. I am relaxed and comfortable in a recording studio setting. I am cooperative and work well in achieving a quality recorded product.
I am also a writer and accustomed to creating varied characters with characteristic personalities, mannerisms, and voices. I have a vast collection of character types in my head to work from when establishing a voice to use in a recording project.
Overall, I want to always give my best on a project. I am willing to take jobs of any size, be it the lead voiceover talent on a large project, or brief voice mail greetings and on hold messages. I aim to produce a truly superior product, for the sake of my prospective employers and for the sake of furthering my career as a voice actor.
