I am primarily a producer, however my voice is one that is used when a gap needs filling or for 16th - early 2oth century English characters. I have presented several technical demos showing passiona dn a depth of knowledge that I make accessible to non-technically literate listeners. Clearly 40's/50's voice so some maturity and wisdom evident.

Producing voice-overs for more than 20 years predominantly for the corporate, training, educational, presentation, sales and marketing, advertising and radio markets.

My Training

I helped design and use most of the technology that is in use today with associations with most of the big name manufacturers. These associations have seen me achieve many notable firsts in voice production and recording/editing including the first ever all digital record and edit to air broadcast pice, the first ever multimedia audio for CD-ROM, the first video for Windows product, the first portable MP3 player recording and playlist, participation in standards setting for many of the most common formats and standards used in modern audio technology. I have also been a music producer, engineer and musician working with some of the world's top artists before moving full-time into the mutlimedia production arena in in 1994.

I currently run MultiMedia Outsourcing UK Limited, a UK based company specialising in providing an outsourced multimedia service to clients across Europe.

My Studio Equipment

All of it. Seriously. Whatever you can conceive of, I have, and then some. From analogue and digital consoles, to multiroom AV computer set-ups using 24 bit AD/DA I/O. Using a range of mics from vintage Neumann to more modern Calrec Soundfield and a huge variety of everything in between. Multitrack digital Tape (Tascam) to hard-disk based standalone (Akai DPS 24) to Hardware accelerated PC and Mac (PARIS 3) to software only (Wavelab, Audition, Sonar, SoundSuite, Cubase etc). Outboard list too huge to mention here but including lots of dynamics, mic amps, reverbs and delays, telephonation, EQ (parmetric, graphic) and a range of high custom made audio processors. Software plug-ins to numerous to mention but all the standards and a whole heap more. Isolated sound booths, room for multi voice records, video studios, video edit rooms, latest video and audio format conversion snd mastering.

Additional Skills

We also write music, record and create original SFX and know how to manage large scale projects with a fully backed-up media netork and client by client technical specifications and briefs created so projects can be revisited years after the event for small additions or changes knowing the audio will fit seamlessly in - saving time and cost.
