English UK regions,e.g., Scottish, Irish, London, Posh, English US, am able to mimic accents for promos etc...eg. most European, West Indian, African, Australian,South East Asian, South African, and am able to copy, after listening to, most accents. Am also able to do characters in accented English from various regions of India. High pitched cartoon characters, low and powerful, goofy, nasal....the works!

My Voice Experience

• Caricature voices for TV satire Puppet Show (a high pitched George Bush, a low Tony Blair, Aussie Greg Chappel and any other international character when required)

• Currently doing ‘tag lines’ for Animal Planet, Discovery Channel and Discovery Travel and Living TV channels.

• Voice over artist for corporate films,
advertisements, e-learning modules and presentations for the Indian and international market, in various international accents (UEFA, Boeing, Canon, HP, GE, and even n e=learning module for British dermatologists! among others).

• Worked on the pilot for an Indian Muppet show with puppeteers from the US.

• Am involved in play reading and acting.

• Script writing for short documentary films and corporate profile films.

• Part-time teacher of public speaking, speech and play reading in schools in Delhi.

My Training

Was schooled in China, Russia and the U.K.. Was a primary and middle school teacher in India and the Middle East,for 20 years, before branching out into voice overs, theatre, singing and writing. Also did a stint with a travel magazine and an e-learning company.

Additional Skills

Am able to edit/proof read scripts, do a variety of UK accents, and many other European countries. I can mimic a varuety of accents quite convincingly and also sing with a baritone. Grew up in many places as dad was in the foreign service, studied in China, Russia and the UK. Lived in London for 8 years, from 14 to 21. Worked on Oxford Street for 4 years before coming to India. Taught in Darjeeling, Nagaland, Dubai and Delhi. Left teaching to be "free". Do voice over work, editing, writing and acting. A versatile and accommodating person.
