Voice Description
Adaptable, flexible and directable... Hm, not sure that last one is a real word, but you get the idea! My voice falls into a comfortable mid-to-lower range, easy to listen to or as edgy as you want it. My strength is in "real life" characters--like voices from a film soundtrack, as opposed to Cartoon Network. Narration is a staple too, from the booming "trailer" guy to the friendly storyteller.
"Unaccented" American is my baseline; strong regional dialects would be Boston, Midwestern, California, and Texas/Southern US
After 30+ years of obsession with British comedy, I am very comfortable with a range of UK dialects as well. And as a rabid fan of Kath & Kim, I might just turn Aussie without realizing it...
