Voice Description
For commercial and animated work, I excel at creating young, goofy, geeky characters.
I'm intelligent, and I'm an excellent reader (B.A. from Yale University, cum laude), so I'm very strong at reading difficult and technical material.
I'm also an experienced Shakespearean actor onstage, and I have great skills as a storyteller for classical and contemporary literature.

My Voice Experience
I'm relatively new to the world of voiceover, but I'm learning fast. I learned from Erik Sanchez and Doug Stoley at Pirate Audio NYC, two seasoned professionals who taught me how to play to my core strengths, but also to expand beyond them. I have two character parts in "Jessica Plunkenstein and the Dusseldorf Conspiracy," a computer game that received accolades for its clever sense of humor from critics everywhere, including the New York Times. I'm currently on the audition circuit for union commercials in New York, and the relationships I've formed already mean that I generally get seen more than once a month.
My Training
B.A. cum laude, Yale University.
Acting. Yale University (Constance Grappo, David Krasner, Polina Klimovitskaya).
Film. Stella Adler Studio (Ron Burrus).
Voice. Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park (Rocco Dal Vera), Hangar Theatre (Thom Jones).
Shakespeare. Chicago Shakespeare Theater (Tim Gregory, Steve Snyder).
Improvisation. UCB Advanced Studies (Ryan Karels, Chelsea Clarke, Gavin Speiller, Kevin Hines).
Commercial. Brooke & Mary (Brooke Thomas, Mary Egan Callahan).
Voiceover. Pirate Audio (Erik Sanchez, Doug Stoley).
My Studio Equipment
My equipment for self-recording is currently minimal, and is limited to my laptop's built-in microphone. Fortunately, I live in Manhattan, and I'm happy to travel to studios anywhere within the New York City area.
Additional Skills
I am a working professional actor in theatre and film. I can attack any project you bring to me with emotional commitment, intelligence, and a sense of humor.
