Once upon a time, there was a mediocre jazz trumpeter that wanted desparately to become a professional musician. One day, a professor said to him, "Young man, if you want to graduate from this institution, you must sing!". So the trumpeteer reluctantly put his trumpet away, and began to sing in the school's Glee Club. Now, this was clearly not his style, however, he came to enjoy it, and others came to enjoy the sounds that eminated from his mouth. As time went on, and others heard him sing and speak, he was asked to join professional choirs, and an opera company. He discovered his ability to sing jazz, and have been singing jazz professionally ever since.
