Voice Description

My natural voice is deeper and was formed from singing.I utilize proper breath and annunciation, warm, can move around spectrum a bit. Most character stuff is not a problem at all, can keep things dry or really enthusiastic.

Will work with client to really hone in on what it is you're looking for.

Because I come from singing background, I can get lyrical, poetic, good pentameter naturally.

Can write and perform raps (flowing), whether it's already written or if you need me to write specifically for your project.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I do a Russian accent very well, Russian guy/male who has moved to US or UK and has limited English skills.

I can also do a Latino male, also with limited English skills, best when imitating Mexican male who goes back and forth from Spanish to English, vice versa.

Redneck-like accent of American English, not necessarily Southern, just country backwoods type.

Urban American accent, street (very versed in slang, some of it old, some modern)

Jamaican somewhat, mainly pertaining to dancehall type lyrical, know my slang and the approach to the common speech.

My Voice Experience

My first job for VO work was for California Conservation Corps. A spot that ran in both English/Spanish. I did both spots. This was in 2002.

I haven't pushing for voice over jobs for many years now, coming back to it.

My Training

Used to perform SLAM poetry/spoken word with a youth group on stage.

Graduated to performing with my own musical bands. Currently working on my own solo album which, combines hip-hop, reggae and r&b type blend.

Past 12 years, Screenwriting/Poetry. I've been published and I've been hired to write for other people. My screenwriting takes the lead as I continue to pursue it and will be directing my films in future.

I attended local City college first before going to Writer's Boot Camp in 2001.

My Studio Equipment

I have access to a studio if need be. Main pieces are Pro Tools, Neumann mic run through Avalon amp. 24 bit HD quality recording.

Additional Skills

Worked in TV/Film industry both in SF and NYC. Mainly as an assistant, did minor acting on one project, non-speaking role.

Majority of work was for reality tv. Cooking shows, Home fix-up shows for production companies out of Toronto, NYC, Maryland. Top Chef was most notable, Season 1.
