I am a public speaker with an extensive CV, and I am a popular Master of Ceremonies for events.
I have done radio and television voiceovers throughout my 25-year career. I have also recorded extensively for business presentations, documentaries, and training programs.
Early in my career I was a professional blues and swing/sweet jazz singer, and I continue to perform on an occasional basis.
I had professional voice training from the age of 12 through the university years. I attended Northwestern University, where I participated in the vocal music programs and received coaching and training directly from renowned composer and conductor Robert Harris.
I trained for many years as a competitor in the National Forensic League as a debater, dramatist, and extemporaneous speech.
I have extensive theater experience in drama, comedy and musicals.
I have spent the past 17 years of my career as the CEO and/or President of mid-sized corporations. My business credentials are excellent. Throughout that time I have continued to do voice overs for past contacts, sometimes as favors and sometimes for the fun of a specific project. My passion lies in voice work of all kinds. My early career aspirations were to be entirely in voice work, but I was concerned about financial viability. So I pursued a business degree and experienced business success.
Now I have retired at a fairly young age and I get to pursue my passions; public speaking, voice-over work, and freelance writing.
My business knowledge background spans all areas of management and leadership development, personnel development, strategy and branding.
I am a very quick study, and I know from personal experience how vital it is to be able to hire talent that will honor and deliver the brand that must be conveyed. I ask pertinent questions, study for my roles, and deliver on time and to spec.
When you call my list of references you will hear over and over again that I am professional, creative, dependable, and always fun to work with.
