Voice Description

I have always been told I have a great radio voice. In high school I did drama & choir classes & was an active participant in state competitions. My senior year I took audio production class & my instructor always encouraged me to push myself. We did various PSA's & even live casts. I can make my voice smooth or rough, deep & serious for narrations, I often can imitate personal care commercials or sometime cartoons. I just love messing with the sound of my voice.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am pretty good at British, Polish & Russian accents (so I've been told). My husband is Polish & I often times catch myself accidentally imitating his accent.

My Voice Experience

I have not done any voice overs, just radio. I would like to get started on some projects, as I am unemployed right now & I know these types of jobs can be demanding but rewarding.

My Training

Audio Production class in 2004-2005, did PSA's for radio stations & live broadcasts for 88.5 THE EDGE in Yakima, WA as a part of YV Tech.

My Studio Equipment

I am a bit rusty on what equipment we own & most of it is out of state at the moment, but if I am to get a project offer, we can ship the equipment here. Hubby used to have a mini studio in his room, he used it mostly for music production. He would be my "manager" as he has a knack for these things.

Additional Skills

In all of my past jobs I have been required to answer phones in a polite, personable manner. One of my last bosses even designated me as the "operator" because he liked my voice. He even requested that I be the one to record the voice mail greeting, over asking his wife to do it.
