My Voice Experience
My first voice-over job was right out of the Marine Corps when i went back to school for a local TV Station in College Station, TX. The regular voice-over guy was sick and i filled in using a Southern accent for the upcoming Rodeo. From there I voiced the local Crimestopper reenactment segments along with several local commercial spots. As a Marine I had to use my voice in a commanding way in delivering orders and drilling platoons.
My Training
I earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism where I had to voice many student projects including on air news delivery. I have attended acting classes in New York where I studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory and Los Angeles, where I have trained with Stella's Master instructor Author Mendoza, I have also trained at the Kalmenson & Kalmenson studios learning their technique in the art of voice-overs. I served as a Marine where i found i had to use my voice to drill fellow Marines.
My Studio Equipment
A lap top and recorder is all I have at this point.
Additional Skills
I am a skilled professional able to break down scripts and find the selling points through a specific technique to identify the specific audiance and pinpoint who I am talking to. Also able to work with clients through their direction and make adjustments on the fly. I have worked in the broadcast and entertainment industry for the past 15 years both in front of the camera and behind the camera and have a clear understanding in the production process.
