My Voice Experience

I am an actor by craft. I formally studied acting for six consecutive years during the nineties. I was exposed to various techniques, aspects and genres of theatre during that time. The highlight of those formative years was playing William Shakespeare's Kate in Taming of the Shrew. Consequently, I worked for a period of almost three years in a Children's television show called La Pinata Loca with Univision Network. Here, in addition to co-hosting, I played four different characters; an old fashioned uptight librarian, a wacky scientist, an adventurous archeologist and a spy villain; each with a particular and very different voice. Later on, I was cast at Universal Studios to be the host of a live show called Nickelodeon en Vivo for Nickelodeon Networks that went on tour throughout Latin America. Two years later, I got married and my plans changed drastically! I focused on my family life and did theatre on and off until I became a mom. After taking a long sabbatical, I have recently entered the voice over industry. I am excited beyond belief to have the opportunity to reclaim my greatest passion...

My Training

Associate Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Acting and Modern Dance; four year program from the school of Theatre and Fine Arts at Florida International University with an acting concentration on the Greeks, Shakespeare and the Modern Classics. Acting voice training from Voice Coach Leslie Ann Timlick; Voice Over training workshops from Frank Carreno. English Voice Over Coach Bruce Michael. Spanish Voice Over Coach and mentor Anna Silvetti.
