My Voice Experience

Although I have been reading stories to children for a number of years, I am new to voice-overs.

I enjoy writing. I write song lyrics for composer Russ Deane on SoundClick. I also write screenplays as found on Reelot.com.

My Training

Before the age of sixteen, I was very shy, but since then I haven't stopped talking. As a teacher, I needed to keep my students' attention and learned to do so by being expressive in speaking with them.

Working as a lyricist, I sometimes need to record myself singing a song I've written for a vocalist. This has given me a new appreciation for speech and all it's facets.
