Voice Description
I am at heart a storyteller. Everything I do professionally is about storytelling. I'm a director, an actor, a voiceover artist - I love to tell stories. I have a warm, friendly voice for narration. I also have an animated, fun voice for children's narration. On the other hand, I can sound professional and mature for corporate and industrial work.

My Voice Experience
I have recorded several promos for not-for-profit organizations. I am currently providing narration services for a documentary film and a web series, both in production. I was recently added to the roster of narrators for a national e-learning company. I also recently completed a set of meditation CDs used for a research study on the efficacy of various meditation techniques.
My Training
I have an MFA in directing from the Actors Studio Drama School, and have continued to study acting and voice post graduation at both the Stella Adler Conservatory and with private instructors. I have taken numerous voiceover workshops at Edge Studio, where my voiceover demos were produced.

My Studio Equipment
I am in the process of setting up my at-home studio. I record using a Mac Pro, and own several external mikes, including a Snowball. I am currently doing sound editing in Audacity and Soundtrack Pro. I plan to add Pro Tools to my setup in the near future.
I also have access to a broadcast quality studio. The rental rate is $100 per hour, with a $25 fee for phone patch. I am happy to negotiate those fees into the rate for a project.
Additional Skills
I have fifteen years experience as a stage director, and have been told by my voiceover producers and sound engineers that my years of theater allow me to be very directable and to have a keen sense of storytelling.
I am also a complete computer geek at heart. I've been a programmer, a database consultant, a theater technician and designer, and have worked with every computer and tech gadget I can get my hands on as long as I can remember.
