My first work with my voice happened with singing. I started when I was very young and went on to train as an Opera Singer at the University of Iowa (where I'm from) and from there I moved to Southern California where I got on-air experience doing a radio show for a small local station. My experience there reading commercial and PSA copy was very valuable. At this point in my VO career I have experience reading both commercial and VO copy and would like to expand that to audio books and narration as well.

I am very creative and can do a lot with my voice which works well for commercials, but my corporate background is in medical devices; a highly specialized industry where instructions must be precisely given and followed so I find myself very much at ease with IVR VO work.
