Amy has been working professionally as a voice talent for several years, and has experience with all types of voice-over work, including commercials, video games, promos, PSAs, online video, e-learning modules, corporate presentations, telephone IVR systems and more.

Amy has trained extensively with multiple voice over coaches for several years and continues to do so on a regular basis to perfect her art.

My Studio Equipment

Amy works out of a professional home studio with state-of-the-art equipment that includes ProTools, Adobe Audition and a Neumann microphone.

Amy offers Sype and phone patches if you'd like to listen in on the recording session, and she has access to an ISDN line if you prefer that technology.

Amy provides raw audio or edited files in any format you need. She can add music or sound effects, whether it's from her own effects library, provided by you, or sourced externally. She can deliver your audio via email, FTP, Dropbox or other online services. Heck, she'll even FedEx you a DVD if you want to kick it old school.

Additional Skills

Prior to stationing herself behind a microphone all day, Amy obtained a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing, then spent more than a decade as a PR pro, primarily for video game developers. Amy has worked for LucasArts, Electronic Arts, Vivendi Universal and more. She even owned a small consulting business that helped smaller developers publicize their games and apps to the world.

Amy began working as a voiceover actor several years ago, when she began studying with vocal coaches, voicing various projects, and building her home studio little by little, until she made the transition from PR pro to full-time voice actor.

But she hasn't forgotten her roots. Amy's experience creating messages, content and campaigns has given her a unique perspective on the voice over business. After all, a voice actor is nothing more than the manifestation of a company, product or service. And for someone who's spent a LOT of time in her career thinking about branding, that responsibility is at the top of Amy's mind every time she picks up a script.
