My Voice Experience

I have taken classes at the National Institute of Broadcasting and have done recordings in the studio.

I have used my voice creatively in the classroom while reading Shakespeare and a variety of other stories where I have used my voice creatively.

I have also used my voice creatively as a narrator for various presentations at the school where I am employed.

My Training

I have taken voice classes at the National Institute of Broadcasting in Toronto. (2001)At the same time I was attending the University of Toronto and have a double major in English and History. (2001) I also have a bachelor Of Education (2003) and now teach English in a High school.
The voice experience that I have are recordings in the Studio and using my creative voice for high school events. My voice is said to be very soothing and unique. I was encouraged by the broadcasting school to pursue my voice career but I chose the field of education.
I constantly get compliments on my unique sounding voice (from students and colleagues) and so I have decided to give this a try.

Additional Skills

As a high school English teacher I constantly use my creative voice to bring stories to life. From old English literature to contemporary stories, I use my voice to bring characters, mood and setting to life.
Students love my method of teaching and often request to transfer into my classroom because of my teaching reputation.
I also speak Italian and Portuguese fluently and can speak some Spanish and French, but am in need of practice.
