Voice Description
My voice is versatile. I can be the young mom, or the concerned health consumer. I can be sexy and sophisticated for commercials, and also deliver the straight promo sell. I also have a deep range of characters and dialects in my bag of tricks - good for animation and cartoon characters, and reads that require more specific characters to be created. I am a singer, so jingles are right up my alley. Dialects: All NY (Brooklyn, Long Island, etc.), Southern, British and British Cockney.

My Training
I began my voiceover "training" when I worked for Showtime Networks, in the production department. Since I was the resident actress, I became the emergency/last minute in-house voice over artist. Finally, with the encouragement of some of my production friends, I sought out training and produced a demo.
I trained under Marla Kirban, here in New York City. Marla also produced my demo. The day after we finished, I was cast in my first voiceover gig, and I've been working ever since. I still take occasional classes with Marla - to keep things fresh and up to date.
I am also a theatre actress and singer. I just recently finished an off-Broadway run at the Manhattan Ensemble Theater in Soho.
My husband and I also run a new media company. I am the VP, Production. Part of my responsibilities include the recording and editing of audio podcasts for many Clients including GQ Magazine, Bon Appetit, Glamour, and more.

Additional Skills
I am skilled both behind and in front of the mic. I have access to top-of-the-line recording equipment and studios. Because I do quite a bit of sound editing, I feel I understand better how to be a more efficient voiceover artist.
