My Voice Experience

Extensive voiceover experience (15 years) in multiple contexts. I have been an on-air radio and television talent, both in news and news talk (WTVJ television in Miami, WEDU Television in Tampa, WMBM Miami, WFTL Ft. Lauderdale, WINZ Miami,WYTA Tampa, national syndication with "The Amie Devero Show") have done several audiobooks (including my own), am a frequent professional speaker with CDs on the market, and have done a lot of radio ads including 18-25 demo, Adult Contemporary, military character (Magnum Jewelers, Wellcraft Yachts, The Moorings Yacht Leasing, Bull Currie Ford, Anderson Consulting, Kash and Karry Groceries). I've also voiced Public Service Announcements (The Hunger Project, Rotary International, SPCA) and read erotic literature audiobooks and narrated magazines. Along with voiceover skills, I am accomplished at copywriting and/or editing, especially narrative and ad copy.

My Training

Self-taught through years on the air and doing voiceovers. Was a professional dancer/actor, performing in multiple West-End shows including CATS and others until 1990.

My Studio Equipment

Can do direct to PC recording, convert formats and basic editing. No mixer so for high resolution or sensitive systems a studio will be necessary. The quality of my production is suitable for web use (podcast, Internet radio, mp3 files, etc), some corporate and audiobooks depending on intended post-production.

Additional Skills

I have worked in advertising on the creative side and so am a good copywriter and excellent editor. I am a published author of a management book (Powered by Principle) and a seasoned trainer, so corporate, training, technical or other industrial material is easy for me. I also have degrees in biology and physiology and so am comfortable with medical and scientific terminology.
