My Voice Experience

I started out copywriting and doing voice overs for school broadcast commercials and call signs at age 12, then took time to train my voice for singing and stage acting. Singing is where I have most experience behind the microphone, mimicking Ann Wilson, Gwen Stefani, Pat Benatar, Debbie Harry, Sheryl Crow, Katrina Leskanich, Patty Smyth, Martha Davis, Grace Slick, and Kylie Minogue in live and studio situations for music demos in Phoenix, AZ, where I toured with the cover band Girl Next Door and a startup student studio. I recently did several voices for an website with cartoon supershorts, scheduled to be uploaded in August of 2010 (name under development).

My Training

I have eight years of classical vocal training, a bachelors degree in Vocal Performace, and am in the process of completing a masters degree in the same field. I have three years of acting training ranging from practical and classical acting to experimental body and vocal movement. I have several years experience as a recording engineer and producer, skills I have picked up though self-study and mentoring.
