Voice Description

I feel that my voice is a natural gift. I think it is best suited for documentary/educational/informational
presentations. I have a naturally deep, articulate and throaty sound that, had I pursued a career in Broadcast Journalism after I graduated from OSU, would've made an excellent anchor. I am not one for impersonating celebrities, etc. because I think that my own voice is unique in and of itself. If I had to "fake" an accent I could probably pull off a British brogue. I possess a natural and fluid intonation that takes no effort. I have an excellent singing voice which has an alto bent due to the depth of my pitch. I also have a natural dramatic flair that, although I hate to admit it, rings synonomous with the 80's Valley Girl era!!

My Voice Experience

I have no experience doing voice overs. Why?!? Because I have never pursued it. As mentioned above, my degree is is Broadcast Journalism, but life is what happens when you're making other plans!! I do, however, have a career that brings me in public contact all of the time and I have made presentations and can communicate effectively with ease. I think, (sorry for being redundant) that my natural flair for the dramatic simply makes me an undiscovered talent.

Refer to the above. In my college career I made tapes and recordings but that was nearly ten years ago and I left them in the office of Chuck Fairbanks in the Journalism department at Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.

I have been told throughout my life that witty repartees come naturally to me, and I have an incredible sense of timing. I possess excellent communication skills and have a superior penchant for detail. Anybody can say whatever they want about themselves when trying to sell themselves so it all boils down to actually hearing what the person sounds like.
