Warm and deep, fun, smooth and professional. My voice is expressive and flexible. I think that because of my British accent I tend to enunciate clearly. I have also lived in South Africa and can speak Afrikaans. Afrikaans is a language which has a german/dutch/belgian influence. I have travelled to many countries and have worked in Eastern Europe.

My Voice Experience

I am a storyteller, I LOVE reading to children with expression and captivating an audience. I have been in the USA for three years now and have auditioned each year for an outdoor open theatre company (I was fortunate to get parts on all occasions)'Beatrice Lacey' in 'Rebecca' Chorus on 'Guys and Dolls' and 'Elizabeth Crabbe' in 'Taking Steps'.

My Training

I have two years training (one full time - 2000-2001 at SCM Notting Hill, one part time 2001-2002 Mountview Academy) in London England. I trained in musical theatre. Each course taught voice training and acting. I was student of the year in 2001 and received the highest mark for writing/performing a monologue.

Additional Skills

I like to bring words 'alive', I think particularly for voice over enunciation is imperative. I have done voice over in my previous job. I was the volunteer co-ordinator for a charity and we had a video produced. I have performed in a variety of outdoor theatre productions.
