My Voice Experience

I taste my words. At one with myself, I use my voice, as a stress management consultant, to talk my clients into states of deep peace and relaxation. As a spiritual teacher of the Tantric Arts, I seduce my clients into their enlightenment. As an actress, I was the voice of Ann Frank. In the theater, I've played such leading ladies as the seductress in Catch Me if You Can, the fast talking/love interest/deal making attorney Kate in Other People's Money, and as Death, the sole immortal in the musical Danse Macabre. I sang back-up on a few CD's, and I sang the National Anthem once in Kezar Stadium at Golden Gate Park--for a UCSF game. I did do a radio spot in the late 80's.

Acting has been more hobby than profession in my life, but I've had a good run!

My Training

While getting my BS at UCLA in Poli Sci, I took acting classes for TV and film. I studied with Gene Bua, Acting for Life and Sheila Manning for commercials in LA.
I took a six week voice over class in Burbank. In NYC, I've studied with Sally Johnson and Carol Fox Prescott, and I took Dov Simons' Hollywood Film School course.

I'm learning about sound editing working on my own projects--a CD and a doc.

My Studio Equipment

I'm recording on my Mac G5 using GarageBand and a Blue Snowball mike. I am looking to get Pro Tools and Source Connect soon.

Additional Skills

I can speak and sing in a rather wide range. I use my voice for sound healing/ toning which has opened up octaves high and low.


I've worked for three think tanks, Rand, CISA, and INS. This helped me develop an ability to discuss complicated issues concisely.


As a performance artist and spiritual seeker, I have nurtured a facility for spontaneity and play, joy and peace.


I worked briefly as a consultant for a radio commercial production house (Bob Benderson, CMI). They said they hired me, to review their commercials and their competitions, because of my excellent critical judgement.
