My Voice Experience

My background as an in-house ad copywriter and voice over talent for numerous radio stations in California's Bay area, led to opportunities for writing and voicing hundreds of ads and promos. In addition, I've had experience as a writer, voice over and on-air talent for ad agencies and TV stations.

My Training

While interning at a radio station in the Bay Area I quickly worked my way up to copywriter, voice over talent and ad agency account executive.

I've studied Beginning, Intermediate, and Animation classes at Voicecaster; Studied "The Art of Voiceover" with Dave Fennoy; Intermediate and Advanced Voice over with Cedering Fox; Animation with Cynthia Songe Blupka Workshops - weekend intensive and 6 week character development using Susan Blu's Technique; Advanced Voiceover with Marc Cashman at Cashman Commercials. Also attended VO related seminars with Pat Fraley amd Bettye Zoller. I've also had intense Protools training at AudioGraph International making me proficient in mixing, editing and sound design. I also have recently completed my training for certification at the local public access TV station, handling the sound and tri-caster duties for numerous tv productions.

I have my own soundproof Pro Tools-based studio with analog phone patch connection. Equipment includes 2 RODE NT1A Studio Condenser Mics with Shock Mounts and Pop Filters, M-Audio Firewire 1814 Audio MIDI Interface, Mackie Onyx 1220 12-Channel Mixer, IMac 20" 2.16 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo, M-Audio BX5 Studio Monitors, Sony MDR 7506 Headphones.

Additional Skills

I've been involved with the writing, voice-acting design and production of the ongoing "Daffy Dialogs" web series. Also developed preschooler puppet show productions called MonkeyShinesFunTimes available for viewing on YouTube!

I have performed stand-up comedy, was a member of Toastmasters International and I've read for the Braille Institute on a weekly basis for over a year.
