Voice Description

Normal voice is average midwestern male voice can simulate many accents also can immatate cartoon voices not so good with a female voice but I am working on that. Good Southern drawl and proper English/British articulations. Working on many others. I can immitate many of the voices I hear just a matter of exposure, Learned southern drawl in one day visiting in Alabama, able to differentiate between local dialects.

My Voice Experience

My experience is limited to telling stories in character to friends and children, When I read to my daughter I give voices to all of the characters. When telling a story to friends all of the people in the story have a voice and I tell the story with their voices. I speak in voices all the time it drives my friends crazy or keeps them asking for more. Some times I have to be told to stop, though that usually doesn't work for long.

My Training

I do not have any professional training. I am a writer and when I am writting I hear the voices of my characters and when writting dialogue I speak it out loud as I am writting it down. I have had several friends in the last couple of weeks mention to me that I might be missing my true calling that I should look into a career in voice over or perhaps as a radio personality. Any exposure to an accent will force my irresistable need to copy it and I will work on it until I have it down pat. I learn quickly and can change my voice quickly.
