My Voice Experience
The training that I have is as a singer for many years in and out of bands and a short stint with the "national school of broadcasting" in Seattle Wash in 1990 in which I did voiceovers for projects, both my own, and others. Also did my own 30 second television commercial to promote my dateline while in school.

My Studio Equipment
My studio {Black-N-Blue productions} has a studio xps with an I-7 processor, vista 64 bit sp 2, 6 gig memory, 640 gig hard-drive, and 930 gig external hard-drive. I have studio xpl 200 jbl's with harman/kardon monitor speakers running through 2 hafler DH-200's, into an old-school Sunn spl 2212 12 channel mixer, into a vintage soundcraftsmen 22 band eq, then on to an m-audio 610 profire interface. I have a yamaha kx 61 as my controller and cubase 5.1 as my master software with reason 4.0 and native instruments kore 2 as my slaves. I have shure and ev mic's with assorted keyboards and drum-machines in the studio. Yamaha, korg, Alesis and a Dss-1 sampler. I am a bass player 1st, so I have that gear as well.
I am also experimenting with an additional realistic 6 channel stereo mixer to run to the profire controlling revox and sony reel to reels but as of now my mixdown goes straight from cubase to folder. I have been building this set-up for about 6 or 7 months incorporating old-school with new tech even though the cubase makes most of this gear obsolete, there is NO school like oldschool! That is confirmed when you first come thru the door and see my father's Grundig majestic staring you in the face.

I am an electrician by trade but inherited my mothers creative passion as a singer. She sang with Count Basie among others years ago. I picked up the bass at age 20 after starting with piano and voice. I have been in and out of bands for years. Now I am concentrating on the songwriting end of things after a 20 year absence. Right now I have songs playing on Garageband.
