My Voice Experience

It was back in the year 2003, I was 15 years old at the time. I remember that whenever I opened my mouth and spoke, everyone around me would momentarily shift their attention to me even though my conversation was directed at a few select people. I was wondering why I was attracting everyone's attention whenever I spoke, this was still a mystery to me until one of my friends told me that it was the uniqueness of my voice that was attracting people's attention. To me, my voice didn't sound deep enough to warrant the kind of attention I kept receiving. I later came to accept the fact that indeed i had a unique deep voice. Having accepted this fact, I became more confident of myself and was given several roles to perform during my years in highschool. The followimg is a list of tasks I performed.
1. I acted as a spokesperson for the school head prefect,in that I would issue statements on his behalf.

2.I acted as sports commentator during sporting events both within my school and in other schools where I was invited for that particular role.

3.I also acted as spokesperson for the student union in my school during teacher-student meetings, I was elected to this position by my fellow students because of my seemingly authoritative voice that they thought would make the teachers take me seriously.

4. I was also in charge of delivering major announcements to my fellow students at the parades we held.

Currently, I am a choir member at my church.
