Voice Description

My voice can be powerful, deep and official sounding, warm and deep for any type of narration from documentary to audio book, as well as silly and off-beat. I can do character voices such as Jar-Jar Binks type, a small child, British/Australian story teller, or simply casual and laid-back. I have the ability to add music and jingles to my audio tracks as well as sound effects.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can impersonate a British, Scottish or Australian accent, as well as a "Great White North" Canadian. I also do a variety of cartoon type voices from a tiny mouse to large and booming villain.

My Voice Experience

I have recorded voice-overs for charity spots highlighting the need for water/wells for third-world countries. I have also recorded advertisements for a local real estate developer that was played on his website, as well as audio email invitations to his real estate seminars. In the early 1980's, I did volunteer fill-in work for a local FM radio station and currently host three podcasts (Tales From The Mouse House - a Disneyland podcast; FastForward, a weekly podcast dedicated to The Amazing Race; and Just Because, a podcast allowing others the opportunity to share their topics), as well as co-host the MASH 4077th Podcast.

I have written scripts for podcasts as well as short stories and dramas.

My Training

I am very adept with Apple GarageBand, have worked with audio mixing through the various podcasts I am involved with and own a small video productions company. I am a member of a local Toast Masters club and enjoy public speaking.

My Studio Equipment

I use a Mac to produce my materials, and utilize the powerful GarageBand program to record and produce. I use the Blue Microphones Yeti USB professional microphone to record with.
