My Voice Experience

My Mother told me I started 'talking' way too early for her liking!! And.....I've NEVER stopped!!

However, it turned out to be fortunate for me, as I have turned all that 'early talking' into a career spanning 15 years.

My vocal background started in the field of broadcasting. Firstly, as a Breakfast News Reader, then my own shows in 'Breakfast, Midday, Drive & Night Shows, spanning 15 years & several different radio stations. Shows ranging from 'serious' to the 'silly'

Radio gave me many opportunities to do voiceover work for many different types of clients, from constuction companies to beauty products & ALL inbetween. This led onto video voiceovers for Corporate Companies, Real Estate Companies & this leading onto commercials for T.V.

Taking a 'vocal time out' I packed my bags to travel the world & eventually settling in Vancouver, B.C. Living here gave me an opportunity to add film voiceover to my resume.

My training over the last 15 years has been 'On The Job' training from seasoned professionals & 'legends' in the broadcasting industry in New Zealand. Mentors who have taught me have been in the industry since the 1960's. I have been blessed to have had them pass on their
'valuable knowledge', knowledge one could NEVER learn at ANY school. I feel VERY lucky to have studied under New Zealand's finest.
