Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Able to imitate various accents on command in English. This includes various US regions (Standard, New Orleans 'yat, Classic Southern, Redneck Southern, Boston, New York, Wisconsin, Minnesota), Canadian, French-Canadian, French, Northern England, Cockney, Midlands (Birmingham), Classic Posh English, Irish, Northern Irish, Glaswegian Scottish, Classic Scottish, Persian, Arab, Indian/Pakistani, Russian, Italian and Mexican. Can also do others with a good example and an hour or so.

Can also do standard High German, Frankfurt, Vienna and Swiss German accents. Can do French in both a standard French accent as well as in a French-Canadian one.

My Voice Experience

No commercial experience, but I have been entertaining and imitating with various accents and voices for my entire life. When I hear someone talk, I almost always attempt to copy their voice. This is especially true of those who have an interesting or new accent. My desire to do voice over work comes from both my long time love of linguistics, which has me interested in the way people talk, as well as my natural ability to do a wide range of voices. My strongest point likely is my ability to do dialects and accents, but I also have a voice that I can make boom in regular life and can alter high and low with a great deal of ease.

My Training

I have my B.A. in Political Science and a J.D. (Law Degree). I have taken drama classes both in high school as well as at Santa Monica College. I have also had some formal and informal guitar training. I have done a school production of the "Sound of Music" as well as having performed extra work with a fair bit of on camera time while in law school in New Orleans. I've also done a fair bit of writing and did competitive speech growing up.
