Voice Description

My voice is in a lower register than most women. I can sound warm and friendly for narration, sultry and sexy or fun and up beat for commercials, or professional, clear, and confident for presentations. Dialects I am comfortable with at this time are Standard British, and Northern Irish. I am also fabulous at creating character voices depending on your needs, from pirates to princesses to little kids.

My Voice Experience

I am a Voice Actor. To me, this means I am not just someone with a wonderful sounding voice, but also someone who knows how to use their voice to tell a story. I have been involved with live radio shows- playing numerous characters, commercials, PSA's, interviews, and jingles. Some of the companies I have worked for are Washington Mutual, Tulalip Casino, Farmer's Insurance, and Washington School Employee's.

My Training

I studied acting at the University of Washington and graduated in 2002 with my Bachelor's in Drama. At the U of W, I studied voice and proper speech as well as dialects and accents, and how to properly care for my voice. I have also taken private voice lessons for several years in classical, and jazz singing. As far as commercial voice over and announcing, I have been lucky enough to get my training from professionals on the job.

My schedule is very flexible, making me available for short notice jobs if necessary. I am very focused to get the job done in minimal time, and quick to memorize copy when needed.
