My Voice Experience

I have narrated for a CDRom for Chiropractor's Licence Examiners, for Head Start National Reporting System, for the National Education Association and recently for PSA's sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (PAD & Strokes) both for use in the Internet as well. I have also played the part of a cow in a Giant commercial. I have more than 15 years experience in Theatre, video and voiceover work.

My Training

I started as a narrator/voiceover for documentaries in Spanish for the National Geographic Society. I begun my teatrical training through GALA Hispanic Theatre, Signature Theatre, Joy Zinoman Acting Conservatory, New Playwrights Theatre, I received special credit for Community theatre from American University.

Additional Skills

I presently work as an interpreter in schools, hospitals, courts, and for conferences or workshops in a variety of subjects from immigration to health health issues, or Union affiliations. In my previous job I worked as a Publications Assistant and learned about editing and proofreading in Spanish and English. These skills come in handy for scripts that have been translated into Spanish, or when clients need suggestions for a better word choice.
