My Voice Experience
I have worked in voice, both professionally and as a hobby, ever since elementary school.
+ In the fourth grade, Red Beret Choir director Mrs. Music (Mrs. Kip Vincent) decided to record a cassette of original music and had me perform a solo. I also appeared on her cable television show.
+ In middle school, a relative asked me to sing for her wedding and a producer-friend of hers asked me if I was signing professionally and also asked if she could keep in touch with me.
+ Sophomore year of high school, I sang a wedding mass and was paid.
+ Upon graduating from high school, I began cantering masses at my local parish.
+ When auditioning for the vocal program at UWGB, I earned a $500 scholarship based off my vocal performance.
+ Also, throughout the years, I have performed for various school and parish events (non-professionally).
My Training
Hailing from Wisconsin, I have had a healthy interest in British comedy; French; and more recently, dubbing and Japanese anime, that has sparked a flare for vocal acting. As long as I can remember, I have been engrossed in all things voice, especially singing. It was not until recently that I discovered I may have a chance at vocal acting as well and sought a more thorough vocal education regimen. I am currently studying at the University of WisconsinGreen Bay, pursuing an individual major in vocal performance with a minor in graphic communications. I am also studying French at the highest offered level, hoping to improve my fluency.
In my free time, I enjoy watching documentaries on dubbing and other forms of vocal acting!
