My Voice Experience

I actually have no experince, other than a couple talent shows and going to karaoke bars with my friends (i always get 100). My mom always trys to "get reality through to my head" to tell me that I'm never going to become a singer, so she never takes me to any auditions or talent searches, things like that.

My Training

I don't have any training, but the people I know that are taking voice lessons are telling me that I don't need it because it would be a waste of time for me, but it still sounds fun.

I know I'm probably not as impressive as all the other applicants, but I promise you, if you give me a chance and see how well I can perform, you will not regret it. I have been wanting to become a singer or at least get discovered ever since my fourt grade teacher told me that I had a talent for singing. I can mail you recordings, but since I don't have enough money to rent a recording studio, I can only send you a tape on my mom's very old tape recorder. Since we have a tight budget, I don't have a microphone for my computer, so I can record things on the computer. However, I will be willing to go to any vocal auditions, as long as it's in the U.S.

Please, I know my experience and training don't say much, but I think I deserve a chance, I really do. I have people to back me up. My voice is one among thousands, maybe more, but it wants to be heard. It NEEDS to be heard.

Additional Skills

I can play the piano, play the violin, play the drums (a little, I'm not that skilled yet), and not that this has to do anything with music, but i'm also very artistic and I can draw really well. I also write poetry, I write my own songs and I write short stories (not that I was able to get them published, only online). And now that I look over the 'popular keywords,' I think I can also do voice acting. I have much voice talent (is that used in the right way, by any chance?) and I would take any voice jobs, especially singing ones.
