I am a graduate of Smith College with a Masters In ESL from Teachers College at Columbia University.
As a real-life working mom, I ran an upscale, highly rated French restaurant with my husband for thirteen years. As the business /dining room manger and hostess my role was an ever-changing one, requiring frequent changes of voice in dealing with guests, staff and the public.
Now as a high school French teacher in a small private school, I use my voice in the classroom both to play different characters in French as well as to encourage, cajole and scold my students!
