Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am very comfortable in performing British Cockney and Queen's English British accents. I really excelled in this area in my college Voice and Diction course.
Being from the South, I can also put on a good Southern drawl!
I am always up for challenges and trying on a host of different characters and impersonations!

My Voice Experience

I have used my voice talent as an actress for stage shows such as Steel Magnolias, The Laramie Project, Antigone, Winnie the Pooh, Father of the Bride, Bye Bye Birdie and Ever Brightening.
I was also a part of The Clinton Presidency course at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The class was broadcast on C-Span and we were able to interact and pose questions to various politcal speakers such as General Wesley Clark and President Bill Clinton.
I have also been a lector in my church, reading scripture before large audiences.

My Training

I trained at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where I earned my B.A. in Theatre Arts. While there, I completed a course in Voice and Diction which was very instrumental in teaching different accents and dialects.
I have also had experience singing with groups and alone for large audiences. I further honed my singing skills by studying with a private vocal coach.
