Voice Description
I have a slight Hispanic accent that can be lost when adapting my voice to fit a specific project.
My delivery can be soft-spoken, "regular-Joe", exciting, commanding or hokey.
My native language is English, but I can do Spanish fairly well.
I try my hand at impersonations, but you'd have to be the judge on whether they fit your needs. (I call them my "Really Bad Celebrity Impersonations". i.e.: Sean Connery, Hank Hill (TV's 'King of the Hill'), Ah-nuld.)

My Voice Experience
After doing a short stint in the U.S. Navy, I found myself unemployed. As a distraction, I began visiting with radio jocks at remote broadcasts. One of them, Kirk Davidson, asked me to apply. I was hired to do the overnight shift at a CHR station (98.1FM), then found myself moving to the evening shift six months later. All this with no previous experience.
Now, after 18 years of radio, I've done every shift available, as well as every type of commercial needed. I am currently the Senior Program Director in charge of three radio stations, and the host of the top-rated English morning show in Laredo, TX.
My voice has been used in regular commercials and promos, an ongoing campaign of spots for Laredo National Bank, as well as television commercials and promos.
Along with my voice work, I have been involved in the writing process and the mixing and production process, too.
I'm willing to try it all. I love radio and production work, and will do my best to fill whatever is needed.
My Training
My voiceover work came with the radio job. I also enjoy singing both with live bands and karaoke. I've also had a good amount of experience with live theatre, both dry (comedy and drama) and in a musical production.
I am in the process of getting my degree in Communications.

Additional Skills
I enjoy writing for pleasure. I've written over a dozen, newspaper articles for "LareDos: A Journal of the Borderlands". Most of them were humorous, or at least tried to be.
I am a naturally curious person that loves to read, so I have knowledge of a vast range of ideas and subjects.
