My Voice Experience
Even though I'm one heck of a nice guy, my latest calling has been for more aggressive, tough-guys. I've been making my career these days in film and TV as the "Russian mafia thug." You've gotta love an industry that rewards accents.
I've most recently appeared in National Geographic Television's "Space Race," HBO's "The Wire," and in a non-broadcast promotional segment for a PBS conference touting the show "Frontline." I've also performed with the Baltimore Shakespeare Festival, in their wildly successful productions of "The Tempest" and "Julius Caesar."
Coming up, I'll be back at Baltimore Shakespeare Festival in "Taming of the Shrew" and will have several SAG movies appearing in national film festivals.
My Training
I came into the voiceover profession starting in college, where I was the training director for WCWM-FM in Williamsburg, VA. I honed my vocal skill in theatre in the Washington, DC area, where I was a student of the Studio Theater Acting Conservatory.
My skills were further supported by a career in journalism and public relations. I am a past recipient of awards of excellence from the American Society of Business Press Editors and the International Association of Business Communicators.

Additional Skills
You may not be able to tell much about a voiceover talent's skills by his acting credentials, but this is no time to be modest. I was twice nominated for awards by the Washington Area Theatre Community Honors, and I am a recognized Actor/Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors.
