My Voice Experience

An American, Alex has been imitating speech his whole life, developing a solid and expansive stable of character voices and a wide variety of accents. Through watching Japanese film and visiting Japan he has become rapidly cognisant of Japanese speech sound and rhythm and can pronounce it remarkably as well as read and write kana. He has been cast in numerous plays and won the 2005 Thespian Conference Outstanding Performance award for his part in the short play "Softy". His vocal experience includes 2 years of choir, one year of which was also spent in the elite Vocal Ensemble group, and musicals such as "Cabaret", "All American", and "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown". His voice is capable of intense character-driven dialogue, perfect for anime and video games; it is also calm, steady, and strong, ideal for presentations, ESL readings, and commercials.
