Voice Description

Since a young age I've performed many impressions of different characters and personalities. From high-voiced villains with piercing cackles to camp sounding robots to cute muppet type characters, to odd creatures with strange inflections (Krang from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for example) to gruff-voiced sidekicks. I've got a fantastic range for cartoon work.

My natural speaking voice is lightly animated, and I can sound quite smooth and relaxing as well.

My Voice Experience

I'm working in a high school right now, I'm the IT guy, fixing the computers and resetting the kids passwords when they forget them. Word's gotten out that I do impressions, so I often get greeted with shouts and requests when I walk into a classroom. Yoda seems to be the main one they enjoy, though they're also big fans of Doctor Nick (from the Simpsons) cries of "Hi Everybody" and (wait for it) "Bye Everybody"

I'd really like to move into voice work full time, thinking up voices for new characters instead of just doing impressions of charaters that have already been established.

My Training

I have an A Level in Theatre Studies, and a degree in computing (games design) where at college I worked on the soundeffects for a game that I created with friends.

My Studio Equipment

I just have basic equipment (good quality mic) set up at my PC right now.

Additional Skills

I have several pieces of software that can be used to warp, mechanise, and alter the pitch of voices and sound effects. I've used these to create sounds that are mechanical, or futuristic sounding, as well as just downright weird.
